I'm currently preparing to run Sunless Citadel, the first adventure in Tales from the Yawning Portal, and to my frustration the DM versions of the maps have a very low resolution. So I went to Google to look for high res versions and I was baffled by what I found. Apparently, the adventure was released for free on DDB back during covid and that version has DM maps with all the proper pixels. Why does the free version have good maps, but the one I paid money for doesn't? (insert confused black guy meme)
Is it intentional that the DM versions of the maps are drastically lower in resolution than the player versions of the same maps? That's not typically the case for other books on D&D Beyond.
Hey there,
I'm currently preparing to run Sunless Citadel, the first adventure in Tales from the Yawning Portal, and to my frustration the DM versions of the maps have a very low resolution. So I went to Google to look for high res versions and I was baffled by what I found. Apparently, the adventure was released for free on DDB back during covid and that version has DM maps with all the proper pixels. Why does the free version have good maps, but the one I paid money for doesn't? (insert confused black guy meme)
So, uhm... hey devs.... fix this?

ModeratorThe site only has one version of that book. Everyone gets the same images inside.
