I don't want to see everyone else's die roles. I just want to see the result as a player or DM. I don't want to see their graphics, I like to see my graphics.
Then use the newly added option to turn others rolls off. You now have three options:
See all roll animations
See only your roll animations
No roll animations, only results
Who ever asked to see everyone's die roles must be running a huge big screen with some ridiculously high resolution settings. Or was not thinking about everyone else.
It's been an oft requested feature, since before Maps even came out and encounters were being run in the encounter tool.
Put some expand/reduce buttons on the equipment list for character sheets. When I move equipment from the party list I can't move up high enough to get top of my personal list. Or put the vertical slide on it.
Put the cheap navigation bar back on the top of the DDB entry screen.
Cut it out with all the graphics loading on the entry screen. Its slowing down my old cheep machines. Its just advertising for your new DDB internet stuff.
Remember often times less is more.
This would be feedback better suited to its own thread where it'll actually get seen
Didn't need the switch, didn't want the switch. Lost the best dice set cause they don't know what they're doing, someone needs to get their head out of their ass and stop breaking shit we pay for.
So another update, and I happily see a new setting in the dice roller: "Only my dice: only see your own rolls." Great! Perfect! ... and then I discovered that it means you can't see the result of other people's rolls in the log. I really need you to understand that many many people want to see what the rest of their party rolled, but not by having a handful of other people's dice block their access to their character sheet.
There are two things you need to do:
Disconnect the dice roller and log settings, so that you can stop seeing anyone else's 3D dice and yet still see the *result* in the logs.
Either make the popup from the log show what you actually roll, rather than just the total, so that you can see if you crit, or make the log window persistent so that it stays open when you click the dice roller. Preferably both, but at least one of those two.
Seriously, was this thing vibe coded? Because I can't believe anyone architected this out in such a broken fashion.

Works fine for me. Have someone else changed their rolls to "Only to DM"?
Hmm. Possible. I'll do some more testing next session. But the part where when I roll dice, the log popup (if the log is closed) only shows the total and not what numbers I rolled, unlike the former separate dice result box, is still absolutely true and annoying. And the fact that every time I click the dice roller the open log window closes, so I have to reopen it to see what I rolled, is still true. And terrible.

If you click on the entry in the log does it expand? I don't remember it ever showing the dice in the popup, but I always have the log open because I lock the panel in place with "Fixed" and "Lock"
Ooh, thank you! I didn't know about lock, so at least I can have the log stay open. I still don't see why they have it autoclose when you click the dice roller, since that's the time when you would *most* want to see the results, but as long as I can override it I don't care.
