I'm sure this has already been raised somewhere, but please can we have the option to add hideable text onto the maps on the VTT? It would make revealing area on world maps much easier.
Yes this need to be a standard option. Arkenforge (the software im using now) has it as you add a note that is a clickable icon you put on the map that when you click on it it has a popup that shows the text you put in there, but only the DM can see it, you can also can add in media, so you can click on a picture and then click "show to players" if there is something interesting in that room.
Unfortunately arkenforge is not a virtual table top, its an in person table top so your displaying a battle map on the table via a projector or on a screen, which works great for our group because we all play in person, but one of our group members moved pretty far, so have been experiencing with the maps vtt here on so he can still join remotely. But Maps is just so far behind standard vtts im not sure im going to stick with it.
