It would be very helpful if I could prep a map in the VTT with tokens, stickers, notes, fog of war, everything needed to run that map/encounter, and then use that prepped version in any of my active campaigns. Right now if I want to re-use the same encounter in multiple campaigns I have to build it from scratch every time
If it helps, you could try to select and copy all tokens and stickers and paste them to a new map. At least I think that should be possible now, I havent tried it myself. And I have no idea where it places them, so you will probably have to move them to the right locations, but it could save you time scrolling through the browsers.

This doesn't work across campaigns, only within a single browser screen. So you can't copy tokens, then open another game and paste them.

My preference is for having the Encounter Builder design the encounter and then be able to import that into a given map.
