I would love it if D&DB would add the ability to limit content sharing in campaigns to equipment and magic items from sources. I'd love to be able to have my players look up and add magic items from adventures I'm running them through, but not be able to look up spoilers from the same adventures. Obviously, DMs would still be able to share all content from sourcebooks and campaign settings, ideally.
Anybody else feel like this would be a good feature? How feasible is this?
That's what the Content Management button at the top of the campaign page does. Disabling a book there will prevent them from reading it*, but still allow them to use its character options.
(*if this shared copy is their only way to access it. They might still be able to read it if they own it themself, or if it's shared in another campaign.)
They're saying that they don't want to block magic items and equipment, not that they want to block the entire thing.

The recommendation above allows exactly that.

Oof, I cannot believe I missed that. How...thank you, I rolled very, very low on that check.
Unrelated: did everybody know that when sharing content in a campaign, if you disable a book, your players won't be able to read the books but can still add the books' equipment and magic items to their character sheets? I for one ALWAYS knew...
