Is it just me or does it seem like the 4 other basic wizard subclasses have just been forgotten about? Because I haven't seen another about them in a good while, and while stuff like the new raveloft book is great and the subclasses with it are cool to have... we are still missing not only the 4 basic wizard subclasses but a few other "basic" subclasses for other classes that also feel like they have been forgotten about and/or thrown to the side. Just feel that all the stuff for the different realms is great just give me a simple players guide add on with all the missing basic subclasses already seeing as you couldn't take the time to put them into some other book as an added note. I mean if I'm missing something please let me know what and where it is and I'll be more than happy to delete this post and apologize for the rant.
They've not been forgotten about, they've been through UA and it's likely they'll be in the new Arcana Unleashed book. Also this isn't really feedback for D&D Beyond
Its feedback in the form of a question and pointing out that although yes, they have put them in a UA... how long ago? .... other things that have been in a UA after those have already been put out in other things but yet they can't seem get the basic/old school subclasses out in a timely manner, but they sure can put together a dinosaur book no one asked for with not only a number of races but 3 brand new subclasses that no one asked for as well. So, ya its feedback in the form of a question trying to find out if the writers/devs/WotC have a plan that will bring these basic/old subclasses out sometime this edition or will they keep ignoring them. But everyone is intitled to their own opinions on what is something and what isn't something as well.
In fairness, that dinosaur book is third-party content that was not designed or written by Wizards of the Coast, so it's not like it's taking their time away from anything else.
There has already been one big supplement with some updated old subclasses, and at least two more are scheduled to come out later this year, so the idea that they're "ignoring" it is kind of silly.
About the comment that it isn't D&D Beyond feedback: You're asking about D&D in general. The D&D Beyond Feedback section of the forums, specifically, is about the site and its implementation of D&D, not about the game itself. (This includes general bug reports but isn't meant to include bug reports relating to specific books, those go in the release threads for their respective books.)
You are correct, I missed that as I had not looked over the whole thing yet, so I do stand corrected a bit on that part. As for it feeling ignored and being kind of silly is again all a subject of opinion. There shouldn't have been any reason they have taken this long let along still having to wait till later this year. Again, this is simply my opinion, and I am simply voicing my feedback about it is all. I would have thought they would have prioritized the original/older subclasses a bit more and be a bit faster with getting them out.
So how do you give feedback or ask questions about something that hasn't been released yet? I am letting my feedback of the lack of older content not being prioritized in a form of a questions... I guess some people don't get that, is what it is and if the mods want to move the post, they have all the right and power to do so.
D&D General would kind of be the place, though anything on these forums about the game itself isn't something the devs of the game will likely see. These forums, except where it's bug reports about the site itself, are just for community discussion and you just have to accept that because you can't change it.
I'd like to point out as it already was above: They absolutely ARE working on the subclasses you mentioned, they've already featured in a UA (which is still accessible here on the site). The decision to only print half of the school subclasses for Wizard was made because the 5.5e PHB focused on four subclasses per class, that's really it.
