Look, I don't know if you are just trying to hide what I have bought, but I can not find the books I have purchased. Make it easy for me to pull up my books or I swear to god I will sue. Right now all I see is books I have already purchase but with prices as if I didn't already purchase them. I don't know what kind of BS your trying to pull but you better fix this FAST!
Stop hiding our purchases in library under a small View All link in and Stop marking Market Place books we have already purchased with prices like we haven't bought them. Idiots.
Literally just access it via the Library, they added features a little while ago to make it easier than ever. The feature you want exists and isn't hard to find or use, it's just that any piece of software (websites included) requires users to learn how to use it at least on a base level.
Before it was all listed by default. Now you have to put all your books in favorites to have them readily available. And then there is the fact that you have the stuff you purchased already listed with prices as if you didn't purchase them in marketplace, and able to add to your check out basket (I tested it). You telling me that is "intuitive", sounds more like attempted fraud to me. So yes, when I have already purchased stuff and it isn't flagged as purchased in marketplace and is missing/hidden from library unless you favorite them, I kind of get mad as it sounds like attempted fraud to me.

Before most was listed by default. But there was a finite amount of space and with each new book release, an older book had to be removed from the drop down. So they've shifted to nine favourited books and three most recent to make better use of the space. There's no fraud here, and to claim there is world be a gross overreaction
Then in marketplace why are you able to purchase books you already purchased? They should be marked as purchased and excluded from being added to the cart. That is the way it was before. Also, in library, it starts with favorites (blank), then you have view all (recent) and finally view all with no definition or clarification that this, finally, is where you will find your purchases. I have 43 purchases. I get some from third party just because they seemed interesting, I don't memorize them all. Before they were marked as purchased in the marketplace. That is just blatantly engineered for double purchase. Spin it the way you want fanboi.

Fun fact:I accidentally authorized a recent purchase multiple times, & guess what? Customer Support nixed the extra charges upon request, and my bank only withdrew from my account once.
There are guardrails against this kind of thing if you're willing to let them stop your fall into the pit.

Yeah, the marketplace never stopped you from adding it to your cart. It just pointed out that you already owned the item. Your claim is a lie at worst and uninformed at best.
Then make the button specify Add Gift to Cart or some other change in the button to indicate current ownership.
Have you actually looked at what happens when you try to purchase a book you already own?
1 - There's red text warning you that you already own the book 2 - There's a checkbox to purchase the item as a gift which.... 3 - Enables you to actually purchase the book you already own
You cannot repurchase a book without actively confirming you wish to do so as a gift.
So not only is there already an indicator of ownership, there's an active speedbump in the purchase flow to ensure they're aware they're purchasing a gift.
Oh, and if you already own a book it tells you here:
TBH, no. However, you're saying that we nearly have to pull the trigger before any indication of already owning that product is good design? Given that one poster already had this issue just reinforces the issue. My point has always been the obfuscation of where our purchases are located multiple steps deep and no outward indication of ownership in the marketplace. Only after you track down your library tucked away and flag some favorites does a large obvious "Library" button appear in the "Library" tab.
This feels very disingenuous—I provided two screenshots that clearly show a "you already own this" flag before you reach the checkout step. And explicitly stopping you from buying something multiple times unless you confirm actively you want to buy it as a gift is good, consumer friendly design. A few posts back you claimed:

Which would indicate you either
Didn't actually look at the system you were complaining about or
Were actively lying
I'm going to assume it's 1.
And as for the so called "obfuscation" of where your purchases are located, it's two steps deep: Library > View All, a path you only have to take if you've never looked at a book on D&D Beyond. Two steps is literally the minimum number of steps to technically qualify as "multiple steps deep"
Once you've looked at a single book, you get a clearer View My Library button, which I will agree should really be there from the get-go. However that seems to be an oversight on the new menu design and would be some actually valid feedback.
The fact you seem to be attempting to dress up some fairly minor UX friction points as being some actively malicious intent to con you out of your money just comes across as absurd.

Because you can gift books to people. Something it clearly highlights when making the purchase.
And yes, your favourites will be blank if you have no favourite books.
