I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's intended behavior, but when sharing a character sheet, the "Description" and "Notes" links in the Feature's and Traits section do not show up.
Repro Steps.
Create a character
Copy link
Open link in incognito mode or a browser that is not signed in.
Observe Features & Traits section
Expected Results
Description and Notes are present but not editable (this may be intended behavior, so that people can't see notes you have written, but it would be nice for people to see backstory etc.
Yes. I understand why its turned off (not wanting to share backstory with other players), but if I want to share an underling with my group, or share a character I've built for fun, backstory/background are a big part of that. I'd love a more granular option to allow "Private", "Public" and "Public (With Background)" or something.
yeah, not having background displayed or flaws etc, means that if i make a character sheet on DnDBeyond, and share it with a DM who doesn't use DNDBeyond, they can't see that info
There seems to be plenty of resources available for public sharing, forums and the like. I'm not sure DnDBeyond has to recreate that.
Except that they have already implemented a public sharing link for character sheets, and it even formats a really neat "condensed" view when you share the link through Twitter/Facebook/Discord/et al...

Not for notes and documentation or we wouldn't be having this discussion. There's no real need for DnDBeyond to add wikis and other things. There are services that do it already.

They aren't asking for a Wiki? They are, and I am, asking for an option to share Background and Notes sections of character sheets when a sheet is shared...
