I'd tack on that it would be good to arrive at this advanced filter by clicking on the School in a particular spell. Consider browsing: I'm just looking around at spells, see one I really like, and can click to see other spells in that School. Could also apply this to some of the other bits in the spell details (level, effect. etc.)

If it would be possible to include a way to "save" a spell list, that would be great.
I.e. I have a Druid/ranger that I could then select the spells she uses and save them to a list with her name so next time I wanted to look at her spells, I would just click on the character name or spell list and I would have my saved spell list.
If that makes sense...

I'm like Indiana Jones meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, only browner.

Perhaps an option when we're able to create characters on the next phase of the beta?

I'd think school would be a basic filter, but yeah, at least its in there.
I disagree, If i'm thinking correctly, only the Wizard and Arcane Trickster care about school of magic? And with that said, only the wizard is listed in the SRD. The arcane trickster is not an SRD option. Thus it would only apply to the wizard and not the, druid, cleric, paladin, warlock, sorcerer, bard... so, advanced search option is probably the best place for it. Correct me if i'm wrong here.

Wizard, Arcane Trickster, and Eldritch Knight are all PHB-listed things. Maybe not in the SRD, but they're still basic options that anyone with the most core of the core books can play. Additionally, there are lots of people out there that like to stick to a theme, such as an evocation sorc, or a conjuration druid, etc. Though there's only so much room for filters and such, so I can understand keeping it in the advanced search options.

Every wizard subclass, Arcane Trickster, and Eldritch Knight.

Ah right forgot about the Eldritch Knight. But sadly, I must fall back to current SRD, which neither the Trickster nor eldritch knight is listed. With that said, My point is only that, why add this to the "default" choices when only a small amount of spell casters require it as such? And only those trying to fulfill a specific role play aspect or Wizard would need it. And also, I've never had the idea to play a spell caster that only uses certain schools of spells...(other than wizard) so thanks for the thought.

Additional request: You also need to be able to find out which spells are EXCLUSIVE to a class. Which spells are Paladin-only? Which spells are shared by Warlock and Druid? These are things I expect to be able to find out with these spell organizers.

Per the title, add a filter option for spells by school of magic.
Edit: Awesome forum goers have advised this is located in advanced filters. Thanks everyone for the help. Great site, with a good community :)
Upvote, good suggestion.
Yes. I was just going to post this feedback.

I think that's coming with the character sheets later on ? Though feel free to correct me, if I'm wrong.

I would prefer to have the school in the list of tags.
