At my wits end trying (and failing) to delete characters

I've reached my character creation limit, but I don't seem able to delete any of my characters. I hit the Delete button and I type DELETE and it loads for a while and then it says "error deleting <character>". I've tried googling other troubleshoots but nothing has helped so far. I saw thread that said to try using a different device, currently typing this from my other computer :/ (didnt work) another thread said to clear browser cache, tried that, no results. I'm about to loose my mind this is extremely irritating PLEASE if anyone can help ToT'
