I might be gaslighting myself, but I swear that within the last year or so character sheets changed. My Circle of the Moon Druid used to have a little indicator (I'm remembering an asterisk, plus the 'source' of my CoM spells being listed as Circle of the Moon) on the spellcasting page. This was super handy for quick referencing which spells I could cast while wildshaped without having to navigate over to my class features, then to the spellcasting table.
Am I misremembering? This is for a Planescape: Turn of Fortune's Wheel game and my druid was in my pocket for a good 6 months out of game before I returned to her and I honestly felt so lost!
I'm not sure why it would have been changed in the first place, but I'd love this feature back!
It's not just you. In the Spells tab, the source from which you got the spell should appear underneath the spell. It used to identify the spells that came from the Circle of the Moon spell list, now they just say "druid"
My Moon Druid shows the Message cantrip as coming from Primal Order, but Starry Wisp (which came from the Circle feature) just as "druid"
Compare this to the spell list of a Circle of the Land druid; I built a High Elf land druid, just to see what their spells would look like, and the cantrip they got from the circle feature (fire bolt from the Arid Land feature), specifically says "Circle of the Land Spells"
Given that the spells from other Druid Circles still indicate where they came from, I think this is probably a bug with the Circle of the Moon spells, as opposed to something they deliberately changed. It is irritating to have to go back and look up whether or not I can cast "conjure animals" in wild shape form or not. Every single time.
*edit* Going to toss this into the Bugs forum, just to see what the mods there have to say
