I'm a bit surprised that this isn't an option. To be able to search for a monster based on the book it came from. The current compendium is a task to go through if you don't have all the content unlocked. I am new to dndbeyond, and only have access to the Basic monster list. If I was able to filter out all of the other monsters that I don't have access to, or just because I only want to focus on one book, that would be very helpful.
This is actually already possible. If you go to the official Monsters search (on the top banner), there is an option under Advanced Filters called "Source." You can select the sources from there.

Hey SirCarlethan,

Hope this helps!
Thanks. Didn't notice that. A lot of clutter in the Advanced Filters option. It really helps.
Im adding to this now that I have more content. Id like to see an option to filter by owned sources, and not just individual books.
Id like to be able to go through all of the content that I do own without having to sift through the content that I don't.
This feature is definitely on the roadmap of features to come - no ETA as to when though.
