By "current ability score" do you mean "total score?" And by "components that make it up" do you mean "base score, racial bonus, ability improvements, and misc bonus?"
If so, by "visual separation" do you not mean the black box around total score and modifier doing exactly that?

The black box is added by Beelzebubba^^
But I understand your question DxJxC its done very good^^
To be fair, there are many ways to do what I'm asking.
But, when I scan my eyes around the page, I have to work harder than I should to differentiate the *present values* from *all the things that combined together to create it*.
So, it's really just some sort of divider between the top two rows and the rest beneath.
When I look at this area, there's no visual separation between the score that it has NOW and the components that go into making it.
All I'm asking for is to have the current ability score and bonus be separated from the components that make it up.
Like so. Give it a think, thanks!

What are you actually asking for?
By "current ability score" do you mean "total score?" And by "components that make it up" do you mean "base score, racial bonus, ability improvements, and misc bonus?"
If so, by "visual separation" do you not mean the black box around total score and modifier doing exactly that?
Yes and yes.

You know what, I didn't even notice the Character Creator DOESN'T have that black box until you pointed that out.
So, I second this suggestion.
