A sweet feature to have would be to enter an Adventurer's League mode which will either force you from the start to use PHB+1, or a button to click to validate that it's legal. A possible workaround would be a feature to list all books/modules used in a character in the character builder.
(Before I get anyone too excited, the Phase 2 Character Builder has not hit beta, I just think this would be useful).
