When you navigate to the Spells page, the filters consume half of the screen on a desktop browser (1600x1200 resolution) and the entire screen on mobile (iPhone 6). That's far from ideal. This is also the case for the Items and Monsters pages. The Compendium page is fine on the desktop, but poor on mobile as only the first section is visible without scrolling.
If I'm trying to actually reference something during play, I'm going to be forced to scroll constantly. On any screen, I should be able to enter the name I want to view and see the entry's heading without scrolling. I'd prefer for clicking on a heading to display as much of the entry as possible, automatically scrolling the top of the content to the top of the browser.
On mobile, the advanced filters have so much space between the controls that I have to scroll down four times to reach the "Filter Monsters" button. Mobile needs a more compact view, and the desktop could really benefit from it as well.
