It is a great suggestion. We need the tags to be functional.
I wonder why we can't use tags with the normal search? For example, there are plenty of spells with "Communication" tag, but if I search spells for "Communication" there are only 3 results (wich contains only 1 relevant spell + its PHB version + irrelevant spell). The search doesn't understand tags, for this I need to go instead Game Rules —> Spells (View All...) and then use the "spell tags" option. Sadly, that doesn't fit the words "Search Everything...", and for me it causes confusion.
When reading a spell, we should be able to click on a tag at the bottom, and be taken to a new search that is filtered by that tag.

I'm also for this! I've tried before (out of habit from other sites) to click on the tags below a spell and then nothing happened.
Same with monsters. We still don't have this functionality 5 years later...
