This is a minor thing, but it's one of those things that's gonna just keep minorly bugging me. If I hit the search icon instead of pressing enter when there's content in the search bar, it takes me to the search page, but doesn't actually search for what's in the field. This is annoying when I go to click an autocomplete suggestion, and my brain will just autopilot move my cursor over to the search icon right next to it and then click it. Although if clicking an autocomplete suggestion just initiated a search like it does on Google, that would be even nicer.
Adding custom search engines in Chrome is pretty straight-forward, so give it a go. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way of filtering on Compendiums just yet. I imagine this might change when the upcoming blacklisting/whitelisting goes live (although the Basic Rules/Player's Handbook might be a special case depending on if the Basic Rules are "hardcoded" into the system).
Anyway, with a search engine added you can just Ctrl+T to search in a new tab, or Alt+D to search from the address bar in the current tab.

I second this, I thought Search Everything was bugged!
Also, stop including Basic Rules when someone has bought the same content. This is silly and cumbersome:
I've been hoping the internal search would at least improve to the level of a custom Google search for a while.
This article has some amazing tips to do a lot of the searching that you are talking about (using Chrome and Google): https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/general-discussion/33813-taking-advantage-of-chrome-for-ddb-alternate-title from fohswe. Really worth the read.
Thanks for the mention :-)
