The characters are 3rd level, so yes. So I need to handpick the homebrew options myself, as the DM for the campaign? That makes sense if I'm reading it correctly, I didn't realize that.
Private homebrew content on your account as the DM, and on the accounts of your players will be automatically shared and you can all use them within the campaign. Homebrew content that has been published requires Content Sharing, which is a feature of the Master Tier subscription.
In order to add other users' public homebrew to your collection so that you can use it, you require a Hero or Master tier subscription. To share public homebrew that you add to your collection with the players in your campaign, you will need Content Sharing from the Master Tier subscription.
Hello MellieDM, one of the problems I didn't realize at first was that my Master Tier subscription had expired. lol. The perfect storm to confuse me. I have it all back in order now with a 6-month subscription. ;-)
Payed for proper subscription, yet there is still only one archetype on each class.
After buying a subscription, you have to add the homebrew to your collection before you can use it.
I assume that is the problem, because this thread was about homebrew not being visible and the only thing a subscription does in this context is let you uae public homebrew.
Of course, you can use private homebrew and the homebrew in your friend's collections without a subscription as long as you are in a campaign together.

Why can I not see homebrew options for subclasses in my player characters’ builders when I know they all have homebrew options checked on?
Do you have homebrew options in your collection?
Is your character a high enough level to select a subclass?

Hooray! Glad there was a solution found. :)

None of the subscriptions grant access to content

You still need to buy the other content. Subscription lets you and your players use each others official content.
