Bump - it's been taken off. This is the one feature I think most of us are waiting for. I'm tired of roll20 or any other sort of band-aid. Sharing maps is the hardest thing to do in person or virtually. Keeping track of inventory, initiative, and such, can be done on a simple piece of paper or with tokens. Sharing maps with fog of war is a completely different story.
Yeah, I haven't seen the VTT listing on the Trello site in weeks at least. In the meantime, I purchased a Foundry license and am enjoying it. However, a fully integrated to DNDBeyond VTT would be the single most useful item to me, and I'm disappointed that it's been removed with no public statement about the company's intent moving forward.
I can't remember in which dev update Adam Bradford mentioned the changes to the Trello board, but in late July the section called "Planned (Longer Term - Not Necessarily in Priority Order) was moved to a non-public Trello board. Someone asked about this removal in a Q&A session during an August Dev update I think, and specifically the VTT if I recall correctly. I'm paraphrasing, but I think that Adam said that the cleanup of the board didn't mean any plans had changed and the VTT is still something they plan to do someday.
I don't remember if Adam said this, but looking at it, it seems the publically viewable board now lists only things planned to happen more immediately (next two quarters, currently.)
Since the VTT isn't in the near future, it's not listed.
Hi,
Is there any plan for development/integration to some online map management?
Beyond is the best online character sheet there is right now, but it lacks something that would aid DM to see a "battlemap" with tokens, etc...
VTT is a long term goal on the road map. It may still be a year or many before we get it.

And get this - I was just sent an email I violated the thread necromancy rule 2f. This is something we should be talking about. We need a map tool.
Hi I just wanted to share this map,
:)
Nightshade, you're my hero
Can I use the Phandalin and Icespire Peak maps in my blog? (My blog is not hosted by DnD Beyond).
