in the character builder; selecting half-elf drow variant - You get Drow magic which grants you a cantrip Dancing Lights, but this isn't added to your spells known list, nor is it an option in the add spell list under cantrips.
-edit - i see that this is listed under limited use - disregard
There's no option for Battle Master or Eldritch Knight on the Fighter Character Builder when you reach 3rd Level: it only offers Champion! Please sort this so I can update my character and print off my new sheet.
You need a purchase from the Marketplace for that.
At this time, all purchases on D&D Beyond are for content on D&D Beyond only. Unfortunately, there is not a way to unlock the digital content if you have purchased the books. We realize and understand the concerns over re-purchasing content, but the material in D&D Beyond is in a different format and platform.
I already have physical copies of some of the sourcebooks, could these be applied to dnd beyond?
As said many times already, no, that is not an option at this time because of the license Curse (who owns DDB) has with Wizards of the Coast (owner of the content).
The content here on DDB is a different medium than the physical books and needs to be purchased as a separate item, as you would with digital versions of any other book you might own in physical copy. There would also be no real way to validate a physical purchase at this time, as there is no individual code tied to each individual copy.

Correcto! Maybe in the future WotC will include digital keys that can be redeemed on DDB but it just doesn't make sense for all of the physical books that are already out in the world.
Another great feature would be the addition of a spend currency button. So that instead of having to make all the change we could just spend 13cp and it would subtract from our total in the appropriate places. You guys are doing great , keep up the good work!

Maybe with 6e, since they'll already have an existing digital platform.
First off this is an awesome digital character sheet and I am looking forward to seeing it evolve. What I would like to see is a section on the character sheet for wild shapes, animal companion, familiars and hirelings, these are a vital part of some character builds and having to look up the stats for these things every time you want to use them is frustrating. I would Love to see this added. thank you for the consideration.

The character sheet is being reworked currently, those will be included in the new design.
Will content from unearthed arcana be available? Such as revised classes.
Many of the UA subclasses are included in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, which will be available here tomorrow.
No new or revised full classes will be included in XGE, maybe in next November's source book.
It has been stated that UA will be implemented as variant options, similar to homebrew, at some point. This will include full classes (which homebrew does not). Last I saw, this is on the roadmap but does not have an ETA.
For instance, I'm a lvl 10 warlock with 2 spell slots. If I put one level in to sorcerer, do I get another 2 spell slots? Giving me four now. If so, can I use all four spell slots on warlock spells or can I only use the 2 sorcerer slots on sorcerer spells.
You get another two first level slots that replenish after a long rest. The spells you know may be freely used with slots from either class -- with other times in place (i.e. You can't use the first level slots to cast a fourth level Warlock spell, but you stay out being able to use the Warlock slots to cast your sorcerer spells at a higher level).

This really isn't the right thread for this but ill answer. You have to do some math, it gives you the info here.

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via sharing content with their Master Tier Subscription (yours and another player's).

Hi there, this question, and many others, are answered in the D&D Beyond site FAQ.

Can I get more spell slots by multiclassing?
