So, I was talking with some of my DM's about this today. I am playing a character that hides a lot of things from the rest of the party. Like their age, gender, and race. But they could easily just look at the top left of my character sheet and could see all of that.
I would like to propose a change. How about thing during character creation that lets you choose what you can let the other players see.
Yes, but for those of us who use Discord, the bots don't work when you turn on the private tic on the screen. Also, I don't have have access to homebrew on here sooo. Good Idea, but.

You can hide everything except class by just homebrewing to change the name of things and setting the character sheet to private.

Everyone can make private homebrew. You only need a sub to add public homebrew to your collection.
