Does turning off content sharing make those options go away? If so, someone in the campaign owns them.
I'm not sure how their database works with things like Tasha maneuvers. They might just not be able to filter those by source.
EEPC is free, everyone owns it.
There is no way to filter out most of the forgotten realms sourcebooks once they are owned. It is something that people want and there are other threads about that. This isn't one of those threads.
Absolutely need this option. I noticed its been a year since this was first posted. As a developer myself, I'm alittle shocked by the absence of this type of basic filtering ... do you want me to add it? The fact that its still missing really brings up some red flags. It could be technical, but it could also be something else.... its the 'something else' that I envision that is really a turnoff.
I wonder if they think that this dark pattern will yield them more sales as people get flooded with search results to which they have no access.
If it is so, a "Filter by owned" feature could be implemented as a subscriber only feature, considering subbers are (in principle) a constant source of revenue.
However, I believe that would be just a mean way to go about, this is a crucial missing base functionality and should be available to all (already).
I'll add to this "need" thread..., As a DM who is a paying subscriber, I wished you could filter Monsters/Items on Beyond to just ones I've purchased.
Yes, I know you can filter by source and then checkbox the source books you want, but you would have to know which ones you've already purchased. And when you've bought ad-hoc items over time, it's hard to remember which ones you have to filter on.
Would be nice to just have a check box to say "show only owned content".
Just another voice to this post, it is incredibly frustrating to have to click the source material tick box of all the books i now own everytime i want to search for anything.
Absolutely! I'm fairly new to this site, but as an old school player who's been DMing since 1986 and who's purchased several of the books IRL already, several of them more than once over the years, paying for the ones I have right here in front of me yet again in order to not have MASSIVE limitations for something as simple as character building with subclasses for my players feels like outright con job, especially when paying for the top level subscription to the web site on top of it and the main bonus there only benefits my players IF I have bought these books on here! All I'm really getting is a small number of hand picked and purposefully placed limitations removed for price of one book, and how many of these $30 expenses does one have to MAKE before you stop hitting that paywall over and over?? The fee for each book is more than a hard bound IRL book from Ebay!! I can go there and buy a REAL book, hardbound, for about $12 on average!! At most the digital books should cost between $5-$8 for what we're getting, not $30, and the basics like players hand book, DM's guide and Monster manual should be freebies with a subscription in my opinion!!
I think unfortunately that you're conflating the issue of Fandom and WOTC not coming to an agreement over dual pricing, or at least discounts for 'real book ownership' with a simple filtering issue. There are a lot of threads about the issues you are encountering though, it would probably do better to join your voice to those!
Though at the end of the day - Fandom have to generate income to maintain the background tech of this website whilst, I assume, paying a licence fee to WOTC to republish their content, so without WOTC giving Fandom some very generous terms, I cannot see it happening.

I am talking about filtering out unowned sources though.
I check off all of the sources
Yet stuff like new battle maneuvers from Tasha's (Which I don't own)...
And other sourcebooks like Elemental evil keep apearing
I can't toggle off things from keeping those spells and extra class features even with a master subscription
I just want to be able to toggle on and off-source content for a campaign and character creation. Like other apps below:
Am I missing something?

An idea: It would be nice when looking at all sources: source books and adventures to have a little star or asterisk next to the ones we own.
This badly needed feature is now a necessity since the app has consolidated - can we get this sorted ASAP please?
I definitely agree this filter is needed asap!

Did they seriously not add this feature yet? It would take then less than a minute to implement. This is ridiculous.
agree, it should be added
+1 for adding this!
How is it even possible that this has not been added yet? This is the kind of thing that makes me want to unsubscribe.
+1
Its coming with 5.5

I agree with this. Both for the website and the app this a hugely needed feature.
+1 This should be basic funtionality.

Too legit to crit!
