In the Actions screen when have Extra Attack it lists all of your "Attack" Actions in a table with text at the top that says "Attacks per Action: 2" which is incorrect and misleading for newer players if they have spells in that list. It appears to new players that they can cast a spell like Fire Bolt twice with a single action.
I understand that the table is for listing attacks and their bonuses but it's poorly worded and misleading to new players.
I think it would be better to seperate the weapon attacks (and the Sun Soul's spell attack) that can be performed with the Attack action from the spells. Even just a thick line between the rows.
I definitely think the text above the table can be worded better. Instead of "Attacks per Action: 2" it should say "Attacks per Attack Action: 2", maybe even italicize the Attack in Attack Action for clarity.
I wouldn't call it misleading...confusing maybe, but as with anything in D&D, new people pick a piece of language and make decisions on that...its up to the experienced people to show them what else they need to consider. D&D is complicated. I'd say 'attacks per attack action' is just as confusing.
Look right under the table where it say 'actions in combat'.
i suppose moving 'attacks per action: 1' down to a parenthetical after 'Attack' might clear it up..so that it says 'Attack (Attacks per Action: 1)"...for me at least.
Yeah, it is number of attacks per attack action and should probably be labeled as such. Shouldn't be confusing for any players that have made it to level 5 though (even if they started at level 3).
