You can already do that via attunement restrictions. If you wanted to restrict something to being only for paladins, you'd put in the attunement description 'paladin' and on the item it'd say "Requires attunement by a paladin". Likewise, if you entered "creature with the Lucky feat", it'd say "Requires attunement by a creature with the Lucky feat"
This is now restricting items is handled in the rules.
Those attunement restrictions aren't strictly enforced by the character sheet, but they definitely exist. There are even official items that are restricted by class.

Suggestion on home brew. If i missed it I apologize. I would like to see the choice to restrict an item to a specific class or feat.
I would also like to see the option that the item can be a glove Or jewelry.
