i would just like the few paragraphs it has in books next to the monster stat block so when i click the detailed page i could get that lore and get my dm brain going "oh yea i could use this for something like that"
thats not what im talking about im talking about when you click on the red button under the monster stat block it just gives you a stat block not the lore paragraph that comes with it.
I see the Lore Description as well, but I own the Sourcebook bundle. When I click on something like Orcus (whose only statted out in the 'Out of the Abyss' adventure) I can see his lore info as well. I'm presuming he was a freebie monster, or perhaps it's related to subscriber only material? Are you scrolling down @Nukerwolf?
no just had basic and dmg and volos. so your saying even though the stat block if there due to it being in the basic rules the lore was only available in MM, that would make sense but kinda sucks.

And all this brings me back to what I said in the first comment:

It does if you buy the MM on DDB.
The answer to the question "why doesn't DDB have the thing from the book?" is almost always: "because you didn't buy the book on DDB."

That's where I'm talking about. Like how aarakocra has 5 paragraphs of lore and a 6th about how they can summon elementals.
Or would the 8 non-lair paragraphs of lore under aboleth be a better example since that one is also in basic rules?
yeah maybe it was just that the monster didnt have anything but the basic sahuagin didnt have anything and thought they did
The sahuagin have lore descriptions.
All i see is the stat block
