The type line for magic items--that is, the one that goes "Type, rarity (requires attunement by a blah blah)"--converts all text to lowercase, even when the tags toward the bottom of the magic item's description correctly identify text that was entered completely or partially capitalized. This makes it frustrating to implement many attunement requirements more nuanced than race, class or level; for instance, "requires attunement by a Small creature" becomes "requires attunement by a small creature," which carries a very different connotation than that off the Small size. Similarly, "requires attunement by a rogue with proficiency in the Insight skill" becomes "requires attunement by a rogue with proficiency in the insight skill," which--while not quite as misleading as the aforementioned "small" case--does nonetheless violate the style conventions of official 5E content, thus lending an unprofessional appearance to the item in question. Would it be possible for someone to look into this?
Literally searched for this exact problem and found this post from today. I encountered the issue when making something requiring attunement by a follower of a specific deity, whose name is now un-capitalized. I agree that it looks very unprofessional when everything is automatically made lowercase; the proper casing of words should be left up to the homebrewer!
