I got the book and I was looking through the magic items and I was hoping to find the vestiges of divergence, but they aren't there. I know Matt Mercer said they would be there and the evil counterparts are there along with a few other new ones but none of the ones from the show. Are they being added later or what's the deal?
Both the Vestiges of Divergence and Arms of the Betrayer are in the magic item section, you can find them in the contents page (Ch.6 Wildemount Treasures) or here:
I've looked through every magic item on the list and manually opened each one. The betrayer arms are there but none of the vestiges are on the list of magic items to add to the game.
Are you referring to the vestiges originally printed in the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting? If so, those are not in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, it's a set of exciting, brand new Vestiges.
I can assure you these new vestiges are present, you can find them here in the contents page:
And within chapter six they're in the navigation menu
Please let me know if they're still not appearing for you.
So they are in another source book? I didn't see that one. I've pretty much bought all of them that I'm aware of. Do you have a link to it?
The Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting is a third party publication from Green Ronin publishing. You can likely find it on Amazon or in your local gaming or book store.
I should stress that this is not a book designed or published by Wizards of the Coast and as such you won't be able to find it in the D&D Beyond marketplace.
Oooh so they didn't put it in dndbeyond. That's odd since they have put everything else in it. I guess I can get those and the homebrew and create the vestiges
It's important to note that the company who published the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting (Green Ronin) is a different one from Wizards of the Coast, who helped design and published the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount. D&D Beyond does not currently support third party sources (such as Green Ronin who made the first Critical Role book). You will not find any new content in the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting reprinted in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, it is a completely different product from a completely different company.
You are 100% welcome to homebrew anything you find in the book that takes your fancy, but please remember that, as it is another companies intellectual property, you can only homebrew it for personal use, so please don't try to publish it.

To be clearer I'm looking for the ones used in the show, I'm happy he added a few more but I wanted the ones that were in the show as well.

I saw that I was wanting the ones used by the group in the show, like the titan stone Gauntlets that grog got or the death armor that vax got.
Those were published in the Tal'Dorei Campaign Setting and as such don't appear in the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount
