What does the code do? I watched the episode but was at work and trying to help another coworker set up his twitch account to stream it at the beginning. (We only caught the first hour, and we stayed an hour late just for that, lol)
I don't know if it is still active, but it is a coupon code to get $10 off of any one book purchase on DDB.

heh, the only reason my coworker wanted to watch was because I told him they did giveaways for those Wyrmwood dice trays and stuff. Now if they are giving discounts to books, I may finally get my DM to watch.
I'm kicking myself for using it on Xanathar's, because when I eventually do buy the Bundle, it will deduct the price I paid (as far as I understand), not the price of the item. So I will eventually be paying that $10 back.
So if you are planning on buying the Bundle eventually, I would save it for that (not sure if coupon expires).

The Critical Role coupon did not work on the Legendary Bundle for me.
It would be nice if someone would let Matthew Mercer know about the 'Beginnings' promo code being expired. His Twitter handle is @MatthewMercer ...just in case. ;)
I just listened again to confirm. They mention the code at 1:54 in the introduction to the 2/15 episode.
"Listening"? Are you listening to the podcast? The podcast is released 1 week after the original airing of CR on Twitch. If you're just doing the podcast airing you won't have access to the 12/15 airing until next Thursday.
Edit: I see you caught it yourself! Yes, that was originally aired last week. :)

Yeah. It would have been nice if they let us know that the code had an expiration date. But, ah, well; you snooze, you lose, I guess.

I agree. I was a on the fence but after watching the Developer Update I thought I would give it a try and was surprised that the Beginnings code expired. :(

Just checked the youtube video. Matt says it in the first two minutes of the video when talking about the DnD Beyond partnership.

The coupon works on the Legendary Bundle as well.

Can confirm the CR coupon does not work on the Legendary Bundle. It is only valid on individual books.

The code won't work for anything I try to buy, keeps saying expired...
The code has now expired. It was only good for the first month of the CR campaign.

Wish that was announced in the streams as they said it should still be good by the time the video was published on youtube... Sad...

Note: This is the episode that went up for audio download on 2/15, so I guess that was the episode that live streamed on 2/8?
