Thanks for setting up a survey! I know you've probably received a ton of replies, but here is my #1 issue:
Search!
There are far too filters, and no way to specifically search a specific source book(s).
Honestly, while there are lots of great things that I know you are working on, such as the encounter builder and combat tracker, better search functionality would really go a long way into making this the best site for DM's and Players.
Yeah, definitely search. I've been occasionally complaining about it for years.
The character sheet/builder needs minor tweaks and campaign/DM tools need added, but the search engine that exists doesn't even function how you need it to.
Yes, search is TOO robust. Let me just search the sourcebook I paid for. Seems so basic.
No, it is definitely the opposite of robust. It is too basic to be able to check your purchases, filter out duplicate results, sort results by relevance, search similar terms, use operators to refine searches, etc. All the normal stuff Google/Yahoo/bing has been doing for decades that we've started to take for granted.
DDB uses a very basic "find the exact word and display results in site hierarchy order" with a very simplified "limit results to specific domain" option. It is barely more robust than what internal networks used before the internet even existed.
