I hadn't used the Export to PDF functionality until recently. In the .pdf, the spell list has several details for the spells, such as duration and range, but no damage (or, more generally, effect) description. If there's a way to cause this to be included, I'd appreciate a hint; if not, ... this seems like a major omission.
There's no way to enable this, the spell list exports as much information as can be consistently extracted from each spell, stuff that's very easy to condense. Range, duration, etc are pretty consistent across spells (that's why they're in the summary bar in listing). However damage and description can vary a lot in formatting, so they're not listed and you instead have to look that information up.
I recommend using the 'display as an attack' option for spells you use frequently and that should get them to export.

Thanks for the reply. I hate to appear dense, but I cannot find the 'display as an attack' option. Guess I need more hints.
As for the notion that the info I'm talking about would somehow be difficult to supply, probably I wasn't clear about what I'm looking for. The online character sheet has in the Spells section a column labeled 'Effect'. The info from that column would be just fine and there is clearly no impediment to extracting nor displaying it.
click on the spell, it will bring up the description, under the customization drop down menu is customization options such as show as attack. However, I did the same thing for the same reason and they still don't show on the pdf sheets under weapon attacks since thta is only weapons and cantrips. ridiculous.
