It would be nice if we could create and print out a list of monsters or spells. Often while I'm DMing I'm faced with the choice of either writing down the details of monsters involved in my session, which takes a while and is time better spent preparing, or during the game itself I have to keep opening the monster manual, which is awkward and can also keep time.
The same with spells. It would be ideal if I could just print out a list of commonly cast spells or just spells I have prepared.
Yes. I was looking through the forums to see if this had been suggested. And as a old timey DM looking to get back in the game, I'd like to be able to flag anything.
Good: A favorite or "star" button on any article; spell, monster or rule. Main menu can pull a list of any entry marked favorite.
Better: Favorites identified by flags or folders so favorite lists can be campaign-specific.
I used to xerox monsters, relevant rules & spells into notebooks so I wouldn't have to look them up during gameplay. Would be great if the app could collate them for me. Didn't think about printable lists, but that'd be a nice option.
I use this site all of the time to print out spellcards and to research spells that I'm using. This site has everything except to print out what I need (although there is print page I suppose...)

Filtering a database item by item or monster by monster at the table is not really value added. I agree that this system needs some kind of export function. As the dungeon master, the kind of functionality I am looking for is the ability to add monsters, spells, and magic items to a "cart" while I prep, then "check out" and dump everything I've ordered into an Excel spreadsheet or PDF cheat sheet for easy reference during my session.

Practice, practice, practice • Respect the rules; don't memorize them • Be merciless, not cruel • Don't let the dice run the game for you
I also hope they add that and allow lists to be synced from the web app to the mobile app. But until then you can use some of the tools listed on this google doc

Something to form like this site would be amazing: https://www.dnd-spells.com/

I sure would like to have the ability to print spell cards but also magic items cards and monters stat blocks.
