Hi, another UX design quirk that might need addressing.
The user is bombarded with information on these pages and I see why accordions have been used. But I can't help but feel that this could be solved with some better content architecture. Specifically, navigation trees backed up with a predictive search bar. So, you can have the monster type on the page, user clicks, presented with monster types on that page with some top-line, at a glance stats, then maybe a click to open a modal. You can click multiple monsters to open multiple tabs to compare or maybe you can highlight monster on the monster page the create a 'basket' to compare. Sorry, these are some top line UX changes, so maybe not the best solutions, but they might work.
Lastly, accordions come at an accessibility cost. Hiding content that is on the page behind might be confusing to some users. But, I am sure that is something you guys have thought about and are testing.
On the face of it, the accordions work and they work specifically for your needs now, but I think they can be improved upon. Also, I have personal beef with accordions.
