As a DM, rather than a player, I definitely feel I need an offline (not mobile) Windows 10 option to run games from my Surface laptop using DnDB. If this doesn't turn out to be possible it'll definitely affect my commitment to using the DnDB platform for both me and my players going forward. Fingers crossed there are enough of us to change their mind on this issue.
I'd add my voice to those who wants a Windows 10 app. My main devices are a Surface tablet/laptop and also another Windows laptop. I have an iPhone, but (beyond an occasional bit of reference) I won't use it too often for Beyond.
On a possibly related note, I'm pretty new to Beyond (just bought 3 of the books the other day), and I'm wondering: Am I completely blind or is there no real way to read in the books on the Beyond website?
I see the compendium where it has sort of a reference/wiki style version of the digital books I bought, but as far as I can tell there isn't a way to click through pages without returning to the hub, the font is generic instead of the nice one from the hardcovers (or the iPhone app), and some of the art (the chapter splash pages) is partially blocked by the chapter contents box.
It seems impossible that this would have launched without a quality way to read the books. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here.
I find Bluestacks a bit slow. I'd rather have a native Windows 10 app.

"Orcs are savage raiders and pillagers with stooped postures, low foreheads, and piggish faces with prominent lower canines that resemble tusks." MM p245 (original printing) You don't OWN your books on DDB: WotC can change them any time. What do you think will happen when OneD&D comes out?
I am also hoping to get a Windows 10 app with offline support. I can easily afford the Legendary bundle, but I refuse to buy it until I get equal support for Windows 10 tablets, laptops & PCs compared to iOS & Android.
And here's a data point: 5 months ago Microsoft announced that Windows 10 has nearly 700 million monthly active users. Disclaimer: I work for Microsoft, but I'm here as a tabletop RPG fan and veteran DnD player who started playing in the 1980's. I speak for myself, not for the company.
I often wonder if the data they keep referencing about device usage is for Windows 10 mobile. I mean, obviously there are no where near enough Windows phones to justify an app, but most people using Windows 10 for DDB would be using it on a laptop at a convention, or using a Windows 10 Surface which can be used as a tablet. If we can get apps for Android and iOS tablets, why not Surface? I feel like DDB thinks of the Surface as a laptop, and thus compares it to Macbooks and other "Computers" instead of comparing it to iPads and Android tablets.

I feel the potential usage of this feature can't really be measured by current active usage, because there is nothing to measure. DDB simply isn't an option for those who would find this feature useful.
Bluestacks. Works great and gives me offline access to all my materials purchased via DDB
I find bluestacks a bit slow sometimes. Besides, we shouldn't have to resort to an emulator when there are so many people using Windows.

I would personally love a Windows-based app also. I have DnDBeyond on my iPad, but usually run and play using my Windows Laptop.
Most of the time we have intneret access, but more than once have we lost intnert access during a session. I had to then run using both the laptop and my iPad.
I have now installed an Android simulator as suggessted aboe (many thanks) but would still prefer a true Windows app for my laptop.

Surface user here. Would love a Windows 10 app version of DnDBeyond.
I use my surface with an android emulator. It works great!
Which one?
I'm not stupid. I'm just unlucky when I'm thinking.
Bluestacks works well - I use it on my laptop.

I wholeheartedly agree. Also the adware in it really turns me off as well.
