The question mark at the end indicates the start of a query string, which tells the server that the content you're looking for likely has some dynamic properties, so get the request straight from the source instead of a cached copy in the CDN. If just the question mark doesn't work, then you can try ?abc=def (query string containing a key/value pair).
Still an issue. I have waited 3 hours now, emptied the caches of both browser and D&DB multiple times, tried 3 browser apps on mobile phone.... still not displaying changes. I tried making a copy of the character, but then the COPY was having the old attributes and wasn't updated correctly either.
The changes do only show up correctly in the Sheet online.

Just to clarify, the caching in this case appears to be being done on the server side, so clearing your browser cache or using a different browser will not help.
However, if copying the character resulted in a copy that didn't have the most recent changes, that sounds like a deeper problem. What changes, specifically, are not showing up when you do that?

November 2025, still an issue...
The best things in life aren't things.
Try putting a question mark at the end of the URL
So, if the URL is https://www.dndbeyond.com/sheet-pdfs/AnarchyPossum_123456.pdf try using https://www.dndbeyond.com/sheet-pdfs/AnarchyPossum_123456.pdf?.
