Xanthars has new info on how to get more depth into the classes during character creation and every class gets more detailed information plus tables to support it.
It would be great if you bought Xanathars everything showed up on the class pages and not a 50/50 split between xanathars and the class page.
As an example, here is the core class page for Bard:
I'm glad that you posted this, I had assumed as you purchased the content it would just be revealed on the associated pages. That seems like a pretty poor design choice to have to go someplace else to get the extra content you just unlocked. Not very user friendly.
Well the actual core class content is there, the new subclasses. What is missing is just some of the tables for creating a character. Something that, while useful, isn't necessary and probably wasn't considered because of that. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if they add it in as people are saying they want it.

The Warlock page does not show the new invocations. I have to track down the Xanathar's section for that. I'd be really nice to have all those invocations in one spot.

Wow. That's just not acceptable. Without something like the spell listing search, this is the only way to get that list. I'd totally expect a full listing.
Really, what I'd rather have is a tree structure where the subclasses appear as sub pages of the main class page, rather than force rampant scrolling. A list of invocations would make sense as either another sub page or an embedded list. Of course, I'd also expect some sort of pop-up like you get for spells.
Note: I get why they have the books separated, and actually kinda like the ability to just pick up XGtE and read it like it was a physical book. The "Characters" section, though, I would assume would be complete based on your purchases.
XGTE updated some spells from EE too. When you search for spells in the Spells Listing it pulls from EE without the updates from XGTE. Will this be changed as well?
Those spells are updated. The old version has been overwritten by the new one.

It isn't updated. For example, if I add "Watery Sphere" to my character it pulls from EE, "You conjure up a sphere of water with a 10-foot radius on a point you can see within range," rather than XGTE, "You conjure up a sphere of water with a 5-foot radius at a point you can see within range."
That spell is now fixed to the new version.

It would be great if all the info text and tables from Xanathars showed up there: Defining Work, A Bards Muse ect.. ect..
So we can access all the class content from one page.

Also, while the new subclasses for warlock are in the warlock section, it misses the new Eldritch Invocations, I really wish they were there.
