Right now, we can search for the initial spell level of spells, but many spells have multiple effects given the level they are cast at. With a database of this type, you have the ability to be smart about your results. When I search for Level 4 spells, why not give me the spells that default to/start at Level 4, but also show me like Acid Arrow (Level 2 Spell) which can be cast as a Level 4 spell. Better yet, show me the Level 4 version of Acid Arrow. You know from the rules set that you add 1d4 for each level above 2, so when I search for Level 4, show me a Level 4 Acid Arrow which does 6d4 damage with a follow-on of 4d4 damage.
This would also apply to when you get around to implementing spellbooks. If I make the decision to cast a Level 4 spell, then my spellbook should change to show the effects of each of the spells I have if they were to be cast as Level 4. As it stands, you have a digital/searchable version of spell-cards which isn't a whole lot better/more efficient than flipping through them by hand (or looking through the listing in the player's guide).
Lastly, and kind of tangentially - there's no reason to have Yes/No pulldowns. You illustrate perfectly the ability to have clickable on/off buttons with the VSM component field, so why in the world do you have a - / yes / no pull-down for Concentration and Ritual. Just provide the symbol itself and make it toggle-able. It'd also be nice to have min/max damage indicators on the spells and if you have a field then it should be both searchable and sortable. Allow customizing of the columns shown in the spell table. Allow filtering based on range/area.
