Being able to tie modifiers, spells, the works, to options when creating a homebrew feat.
What would this do? It would greatly enhance the framework for homebrewers. Right now all we can do is work within the arbitrary limitations of official material. It would also prevent the future problems that have been created, such as with feats that have had to be split into several (see: Fey Touched feat).
"But we don't have the tools for this!"
But... it's already there? For example, Dragonborn traits. You choose (an option) a draconic heritage, and that heritage has modifiers (a specific resistance) as well as an action (breath weapon).
I feel like this would be so incredibly helpful. Essentially it would open up the variety of homebrew stuff we'd be able to make. Feat that gives a choice of proficiency in one of two specific skills? Can't be done. Tie it as modifier to an option? Easily completed.
Fey Touched which had to be split into three feats because the spell you learn used the specific ability score that you increased as part of the feat? Three options in a single feat; each with 2 modifiers (ability score increase + choose a spell).
Heck, we'd even be able to finally homebrew all those piety boons from MOoT (albeit as feats, but I'll take what I can get), which we currently can't make. E.g.: "Increase STR or CON by 2 as well as the maximum of that score" - currently impossible as a single feat! Tie those modifiers to options? Done in a 30 seconds.
Let me just reiterate that I think it's weird that we can't do this when it already exists somewhere else on the site. Again, see the race creator.
Let us tie stuff to options in the homebrew creator of feats the same way we can when making a homebrew race or subrace.
I have to concur with the OP here. This would be greatly beneficial. Right now, I have to run two feats to handle proficiency choices cleanly. It's a bit meh.
But glad it's on the list!

Bonus points if they let us add the new "Additional Spell List" aspect to all options as well!
That's needed to support official content, so is "on the list"
