I looked again the dndbeyond roadmap after one year break and was baffled. Where did the magic item and item edition prioritys go? I love dndbeyond, for it is easy for me and my players share content and now during pandemic it is easiest way to pass those "magical or other items" But now we are still stuck in this old one, that does not let us change much in the weapons property or make magical or non magical items as versatile, or did I miss a memo somewhere? Did they update all that without telling? please someone tell me.
It's as if some global catastrophe threw off all 2020 schedules...
Or some new rule changes required a substantial rewrite of functionality they had assumed was done...
It really is inexplicable because, as they say, "every plan survives contact with the enemy".
Seriously though, it's been a difficult year. The pandemic doesn't care about plans or roadmaps. And Tasha's was a big change to the character creation rules. That had to take priority. At least the changes for Tasha's require a more flexible framework, which should have benefits when when it trickles down to homebrew.
Adam admitted in today's Dev update that the Trello falling off was his fault as that was his job to update and with his bandwidth becoming more and more taken off, the Trello board fell off his radar.

Did the Trello board change in the last 23 hours?
Now it just says "Moving from Trello", and nothing appears in the list.
Yes it appears it did. THAT is very strange. Maybe they are doing some updating there? It is strange times we live in

If you look at the change log for the Trello board, they have quite specifically stopped using it.
