Overall I think the app is great and intuitive, but I have two major problems with it.
A) The swipe recognition for switching pages seems to work intermittently where I can swipe in the same spot twice and I will only change one page. To my recollection I have never had that issue with the separate reader app. I assume this is partly due to how touch was handled on the player app that the reader was merged into.
This makes it less than pleasant to try and read through the books on the app which is the majority of what I will be using it for.
B) I would like better library filter options. It would be nice to permanently hide uninstalled books as in the previous reader app. I know it has a downloaded option, but if I filter further and try to display only sourcebooks or adventures, then the downloaded only option is deselected. Also any changes to this field are not maintained when leaving and returning to the app.

The one thing I miss from the old app is being able to switch back and forth between a bookmarked map and compendium content by using the toolbar at the bottom. The toolbar goes away when you open content in the new app. Any chance we could get the toolbar to stay in an update?
One thing I think that would be extremely useful in the app would be the campaign management that is currently available in web version. Being able to use that in the app would be much better than having to rely on the web use, especially for those who use iPads or other devices used to take notes.
A rule filter for the search feature would be helpful. An example would be searching for "Underwater combat" you currently have to scroll through dozens of items, monsters and adventures even when you know exact header/tag that you want.

I thought the page turn functionality had been removed in the app update until this afternoon. A 'next page' and 'previous page' button to turn pages would be appreciated. The previous reader's ability to scroll through sections of the book would be appreciated too.
Google's 'Play Books' app has excellent functionality for turning pages and scrolling through documents. It might be a good starting point.

I'm using this on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
I would appreciate the ability to save the book downloads to my SD card like I could in the reader app. My phone doesn't have enough space.
Thanks for your feedback. Noted.
I'd like to +1 this part. 🙂
I'm also an Android user.

Using the iOS version.

Thanks for all this feedback

Is it possible to have the new app display your library in a gallery view as opposed to a list?
Changes to the Library display are on the roadmap. Not the most immediate but they are there.
