Whenever I boot up the app and select my books, I additionally have to click on "downloaded" as the app doesn't remember to keep that as my default. Also, once a book is selected it always starts at the top, unlike the old app which started the page wherever you left it when closing/backing out.
I'm not the original poster, but came to the forum to report the same issue/wish.
I'm using the Android app.
As a possible bonus feature request/workaround you could consider enabling the creation of home screen shortcuts directly to books in your library. This would circumvent the navigation in the app from the character page to the library, optionally picking a filter and only then actually opening the book you were looking for.

This is quite annoying.
Do you use iOS or Android?

Thank you - a fix is underway
