Apologies if this sounds grouchy or not constructive but, after this long, I am very frustrated with it. In the last few months, during games I am DMing and games I am playing, I have on multiple occasions searched for something on the mobile app for clarification only to be given results that are so far from the mark that I have to ask what happened???? The search function wasn't always this bad but, somewhere around Tasha's Guide it seems, it suddenly became brain dead. I know there are already posts about this, which makes this that much more alarming. As a DM, the quick searching is the ENTIRE reason I use Dndbeyond. It's supposed to make things go faster but if the search function sends me in 80 different wrong directions with the right one no where in sight, forcing me to go into the individual digital resource and go through its table on contents, then I may as well just be using the books I already spent money on. I feel like such a crucial piece of the dndbeyond product doesn't work that it boggles my mind that it's gone on this long. As long as your search function continues to fumble, then there's no reason to continue using Dndbeyond's app when I have the books right here taking just as long to get to the info out of. I'm not gonna buy another new book on here until I can trust the app will do what it's supposed to.
EDIT: As a less-grouchy suggestion for the mobile app, When I am looking at books, I can choose All or downloaded or owned or sourcebooks or adventures, but I can never choose Downloaded AND sourcebooks, making this list of books much shorter. On a similar note, why is there ONLY List view? Give us that simpler grid view so I can fit 8 books on my ipad screen instead of just three. I don't need or care about the book description. What I need is Getting to the right piece of info faster. I'd rather have all the books I need staring me right in the face instead of going to a virtual book shelf and searching through it.
