I'm unable to find any info on this, but perhaps I've rolled a nat 1 on investigation...
I'd like to provide players with a link which opens their D&D Beyond app, rather than a browser. I can't find any documentation which mentions a URI, so I'm wondering whether it's simply not a thing?
I would imagine it's something along the lines of: ddb://characters/:id
Basically so that players can open the link and be taken to the native app, rather than a browser tab.
We play online, and use a combination of apps and such to do so. Flipping between browser tabs is less convenient than flipping between apps.
When running a campaign, it's nice to be able to provide players with a list of links they can click at the start of a session to be game-ready, and so that everyone is using the same tools.
Whether they were taken to the campaign or their character, being taken into the native app would be very cool.
Alt + Tab is definitely easier between different apps, than through tabs/browser windows. There's an element of distinctive-ness when cycling apps, that is lost between browser windows and/or tabs.

I used to talk to Player Characters, but then they made a meme out of guards who used to be adventurers until they took an arrow to the knee, and after that, I just didn't feel my 2 copper opinion was all that interesting, to be honest.
Another use case is linking the Character sheets to customized 1 inch NFC coins (or QR Codes). These coins are great for brining things up on your phone where:
Keyboard shortcuts like Alt+Tab (and more importantly ctrl/cmd+tab for tab switching within a browser window) are typically not available.
Currently, through the URL Share link, the coins will bring up a browser window not the native app
Just ended up here looking for this as well. Was on discord on my iPhone, went to a campaign link. Link opened up the browser webpage which would require signing in again instead of just going to the app where I'm already signed in.

Could you tell me why you'd like to use it this way?

I want to gift my players these tokens to use in our games, but right now linking to the Browser version of their sheet is less than Ideal.

I second this would be a great feature to have to be able to have the option to open the links in directly to the app, could then use Siri Shortcuts
Yes, I would love to be able to do this. I have NFC Tags lying around that I could put under the base of my mini to bring up the character sheet.
