Could you tell me why you would need this feature?
Putting my two cents in on this. Personally when I DM I'm not looking at the campaign screen. I'm in a campaign book, looking up a rule or a table. Often in those books there's things to roll. 2d6 bandits or a roll table etc. Or just a generally quick roll I would like to do without having to tab back to another page/section of the app in this case. I understand it would be really difficult to get this linked into the campaign specific message broker for the game log - I'm not sure the best way to do that.
No game log connection would be easiest ofc or remember the last campaign visited or a selection somehow attached to the dice panel. I personally as a DM would be fine with them not showing up in the log and having to announce it to the group (I use hidden rolls mostly anyway).
This is something I think would be a huge QoL improvement for both the site and app for those of us that use the digital dice while DMing.
I came here today to suggest the same thing. I was reading a book and wanted to roll a quick d10 to see what I would get. But I was surprised to find there was no way to roll a dice outside of a character sheet? Seems like a big miss. Made me sad and took me out of the fun of reading the book. So I too request this feature. Thank you.
Is there a possibility that the digi-dice could be available anywhere in the app? Not just in character and campaign/character menu screens...
