I use the app primarily to search through the things I own quickly, and it is a bother having to scroll past several things I don't own to find the things I've purchased. I have to do this EVERY TIME I try and look something up. If I was planning purchase something, I'd go to the marketplace online.
Otherwise, could you allow us to set default filters in the app so it either doesnt display or puts unpurchased items at the bottom?
Seconded! When I want to buy a new book, I go to the marketplace on the website. When I'm in the app, it's because I'm trying to READ what I've already purchased.
Having to scroll past whatever the new hotness is to get to the books I've actually bought is just poor UX. Or worse, UX driven by the marketing team rather than with customer experience in mind.
