I’m sure someone else has posted this but I’m on iOS and it bothers me how small the hp tracker is, both on the iPad and iPhone. Compared to the website, it’s a lot smaller on the app but it is a really important thing to know where your health is at, especially mid combat to just quickly glance at. Right now, it kind of just gets lost in my opinion.
After rooting my old tablet and installing a newer android version it is working now. But while is has a good structure on my phone, on the tablet there is way to much unused space. I know it depends on the screen size/resolution and i imagine it is hard to work with so much different screen sizes. I hope, somewhere in the future, to get near a normal sized character document with added functionality but for now i'm constantly swiping left and right to switch to the correct "tab".
Items cannot have spell slots recharged. eg wand of fireballs, can use it to cast and this consumes spell slots. But a long rest does not add 1d6+1 charges back nor does it allow manually deselecting charges used on the equipment side.
Long Rest/Short Rest should have a new option for Dawn (to recharge items automatically with a message "wand xx regained 3 charges"
I would really prefer to see swipe left/right changing areas on the character sheet and have a button to return to the character menu.
On a lark I installed it on my Chromebook. It runs fine. While swiping between panes is natural on a phone or laptop, it's a bit odd on a laptop screen. It may be handy to add clickable arrows to the edges when the device type is detected as a laptop.
There's still no way to cast spells at higher level if they don't have an "at higher level" section; even though they should be able to cast with higher spell slots. (E.g. I can't cast Identify with a 2nd level spell slot.)
I would prefer to replace the "repeat spells with 'at higher level' sections for each level" and be able to upcast any spell from their original level entry instead.
Here's a screenshot of the spell section for my level 9 wizard (/ L1 fighter) with 13 spells prepared, and two wands.
I've been checking out the app as much as possible and on the whole, really like it. Some feedback from me would be:
1. Swiping - Being able to swipe through the Abilities, Skills, Actions etc screen would be great 2. Custom layout - I know I've made this sound WAY easier than it is to do but if I could select elements from the various screen to have in a custom screen, that would be awesome 3. Layout of Hit Points, Rest, Defences and Conditions - It took me a minute to find rest and I'm not sure Conditions and Defences need to be so large. I'd be happier with those to be smaller and on one side of my avatar with HP on the other but this is a personal preference thing
There are a couple of things I'd like to see but it's for stuff that isn't in the app yet, so I think it makes more sense to see how you implement it, then provide feedback.
To finish off, as a closed beta, this is stunning work!!

Thanks a lot - this is really useful. It is not a trivial change though so please stay patient. We are right now aiming for delivering the essential functions and fixing bugs but we are analysing all the feedback and will start making necessary/useful changes as soon as the critical functionality is delivered.
I haven't read the whole thread, so forgive me if this has already been posted. Some initial thoughts:
-In one of my character sheets, HP changes were not being saved when I closed the app. I was able to subtract a chunk of hit points from my character, but after I did that, I couldn't get any other changes to save. Another character sheet works just fine. But I cannot heal one of my characters. Each time I close the app, it goes back to what it was before I healed.
-If I go in and enable a condition, such as Frightened, once I go back to the main screen the "conditions" button has entirely disappeared, and I can't get it back. I have lost access to it in two different character sheets now.
I am not sure if these are bugs, or if they are accessibility issues, since I am using a screen reader on my phone. But they have happened during both sessions when I've been playtesting the app.
I am using an iPhone 11, with ios 13.4, and version 0.7.12.
Also, I don't know if we have enough users with disabilities testing this app, but if there are a few of us, would a separate thread for accessibility-specific issues be something that could get attention?
All that being said, I know this is still in early development, and I am still absolutely over the moon that it's being created, and that you guys are doing such a great job updating it. My entire campaign has been hoping for something like this, and they are thrilled.

Thank you very much for these reports.
Would you be that kind and send me screenshots of the character that is not saving HP changes and the character for which Conditions disappeared for you? It would be extremely helpful.
I think the accessibility thread is a brilliant idea. Let me do it right away.
I wouldn't say it is early development but we're focused on your feedback and the development is going to continue :)
Working on screenshots, once I finish figuring out what my folks are going to be killing with dice tonight. :) It does seem to be a slightly difficult problem to replicate, so I'll get them up as soon as I can.
I'll add to my bug report that I also couldn't adjust exhaustion, when I could actually access my conditions. Which I still can't. But even before the button disappeared, exhaustion was always at 0 (which I wish was true in my real-person life).
Is there a way to put an online/offline indicator somewhere on the sheet? Just a red/green dot on the top or in one corner of the character portrait would be nice so we can always tell when the app is online or not (the wifi/3g indicator is not always reliable, as you might have a wifi but no internet connection, etc.) - maybe add an orange for when the app is trying to sync.
Some of the saving issues might be caused by temporary loss of app connection as well.

So far it seems fine. It would be great to add the advantage/disadvantage icons in the skills tab, and if it's possible have those auto-turn on/off when a specific contition is flagged.
Noticed a scrolling bug on the Equipment page in the latest version of the Android app on my Pixel 3 running Android 10. If I attempt to start scrolling by placing my finger anywhere within the red boxes in the image below, I instead trigger the pull to refresh action if pulling down, and get no response if I pull up. If I place my finger anywhere outside of those boxes and start scrolling, it works as intended.

Some improvements.
- Background change,.
- Character Edition, or at least an equipment manager, to add new itens, and a level up feature.
- Dice Rolling

Looks like it's still 0.7.1 on the Play Store for me?
How do you get into this beta to help test?
Sign up for the current alpha is closed.
Thus far I've only had one consistent issue.
When setting status conditions it sometimes takes 3-4 touches before it will click on or off. This happens on any of the conditions.
I am running the latest version of the app on a Samsung -Note 9 with all the latest updates.
