Looks good! Besides editing hp, slots, etc., I think a key functionality will be clicking on an item on the sheet and having the details pop out (like the web sheet). That's one of the key advantages of using a digital sheet. I'm sure you'll be doing that, but in terms of priority-- It's that feature that will put it over the top.

P.S. I recognize that the 'view on website' provides that functionality inside the app when you have connectivity.
Thanks for the invite to the Alpha! Haven't played around with it to much yet, but two quick things:
I also am having the problem of characters that aren't multiclassed showing that they are on list of all my characters.
Also the Skills page being broken down into two columns is confusing. It all blends together and isn't easily read. One column that scrolls down like the sheets here on the site would be ideal.
*edit* I know what the problem is with characters incorrectly showing multiple classes. I have several that I made to track homebrew subclasses were working correctly and a couple more that I switched up classes due to a new idea. All of those are showing the previous classes I had assigned.
This is more of a general comment. For DDB and the DDB app would you guys consider doing away with the “effect” column of spells at the far right? I feel like saying “buff” or w/e is wasted here. Instead maybe put the V,S,M component requirements? That way the spells have a quick look up for things like action cost, range, component of spells at a glance. For the meat of most spells I would guess mostly we pull up the full text entry from the web DDB sheets, another reason maybe the effect column can be recycled.
regarding the app. I was able to load all my characters and maneuver through all the pages without issue. Seems to work well so far in that regard. Ty for your hard work!

Dunno about the app - but on the website, it does list the components right under the spell name when looking at the standalone spell listing (https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells), and it lists the components in the "Notes" column of the Spells tab on the character sheet. That said, I sort of agree that "effect" is often sort of vague/generic and not quite as important to see as the spell components.
2. While I was building a character the app crashed completely and got stuck in a loading loop. Again this is par for the course but stability was just something I wanted to point out.
What device are you using - an iPhone or an Android phone? Which OS version?
Fantastic job so far! I’m looking forward to watching the app progress; it looks like it’s in great hands.
I’ll echo the comments above: swiping between sections would be incredibly helpful, and having a pop up description when I tap on a spell is essential for me and my poor memory.
Do you anticipate supporting the virtual dice feature on the mobile app? I know that’s a silly question to be asked before the web version is even out, but I wanted to put it on your radar!
Again, fantastic work! For a first alpha, phenomenal progress!
It's neat. If it had more tracking capabilities (spell slots used, hit points, conditions) I could see this being really useful. An integrated dice roller would be amazing.

You do understand this is an Alpha build, right?

Lightning Strike - A rebranded Fire Bolt for Wizards & Sorcerers.
Spirit Bomb - A holy fireball for Clerics, Paladins, & Divine Soul Sorcerers!
Sword Dancer - A Cleric subclass specifically for the Drow goddess Eilistraee.
I'm not even able to use the app. When I open the app, I'm prompted to log in with Google or Twitch. When I opt for Twitch (which is how I use this site in general), I log in and then have to authenticate with Twitch. When I do, it takes me to the mobile web version of Twitch with the app's "authenticate" toolbar across the top, with no option to go back into the app. When I back out and close the app to attempt to log back in, I'm once again prompted to log back in via Twitch then once again reauthenticate the login through Twitch. Rinse and repeat in a continuous cycle.
My Artificer is showing up with the tag gravity magic.
When my DM gave me permission to use the new dunamancy cantrip I gave my Artificer two levels of wizard so he could have access to the subclass. When that didn't work I changed him back to his former level by removing the levels of wizard. My guess is when I removed his levels it kept the code saying he was a gravity Wizard.
I just got access and I gotta say, I don't see the point. Other than allowing offline access, just by opening the d&d beyond website in my mobile browser I already have all these functions and more.
Everything is laid out about the same, in many cases better. I can swipe between sections, modify data, use all the features... So why bother with a native app? Seems like a waste of dev resources. After all, how often do we gather to play d&d where there's no wifi?
Just dup the existing web templates and throw them into an app that will download the associated dataset for my character and run the HTML templates locally, updating the local data array.
Done.
Use the rest of dev time to finish encounter builder and add world builder support. So we can create a works instance, designate multiple DMs we invite, allow a couple dozen characters to exist in the world, and campaigns are ongoing or one off events in that world run by 1 of the N DMs...

Thank you very much for all your feedback! We have gone through all of it and read every word of what you said. We promise to keep making the app better. Feel free to add more feedback, especially after you use the app in a game.

So, the app is awesome so far.
All of my feedback is the same as what's already been mentioned.
Ability to sort characters by campaign, date created, date customized, etc.
Ability to change theme or colors.
Making spell attack, save DC, etc. static so it scrolls with you.
I don't mind clicking a button to go to other portions of the sheet, but I can see how a swiping option would be nice.
Overall, I really love what I'm seeing so far and I can't wait to see its continued development!

It would be helpful to have the action section be able to sort what you are looking at like on the site (attack, bonus action, limited use, reaction).

Descriptions of spells and things would be nice. When I click on "Arcane Lock" I want to see what it does.

I received a DDB email, but the email from Testflight has yet to arrive. Anyone able to offer advice?

I had this same experience as others when creating a new character.
When I was done the “Your character will be deleted “ Error popped up, I canceled. It worked correctly on the second attempt.
