So i just bought TPHB and XGTE, and gained the hexblade for my character builder.
It says that the invocation Lifedrinker adds and extra necrotic damage eaqual to your charisma. Does that go on top of the normal damage you would do if it was a strength weapon?
cuss if so every weapon i set as my hex and pact weapon should have a plus 12 or 13 to it considering i have 22 in charisma and the invocation: improved pact weapon
Does anyone know if this is a glitch or if i just misunderstood something here

For your hexblade you can use Cha instead of Str. With 22 Cha your mod is +6.
The Lifedrinker adds +Cha to damage, and Improved Pact Weapon adds +1
So it is: weapon damage + 6 + 6 + 1
Or +13 to the damage roll.
The character sheet won't work this out for you, as it is limited. So, it's probably better to make a custom action for the weapon on your sheet to roll it correctly.

The dice roller is still new, so they haven't been able to implement it yet.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
So i didnt miscalculate?
Post a link to your character sheet and I can look.

Dont know how, but i can give the calculation:
+6 damage because hex lets you use CHA
+6 from lifedrinker
+1 from improved pact weapon
that should result in a plus 13 to damage no matter the weapon

Careful with the wording there. Most of that damage is available ONLY with the Pact Weapon that has been conjured, or assigned that nomenclature.
