Posting jpgs in pbp forums

I would like to put battlemaps up in the pbp forum for PCs.  If this is doable can anyone lead me through the steps?

Here are the steps I use for posting an image

1. Upload your image to a hosting site such as imgur
2. Copy the images URL, making sure it ends in .jpeg (or whatever image format you've used). If it doesn't, add the file type to the end
3. Go to your D&D Beyond forum post you're writing
4. Click the Insert/Edit Image button (the picture icon, fourth from right)
5. Paste the url from step 2 into the 'Source' field
6. Optional: add an image description and/or dimensions
7. Click Okay

You should now have an embedded image that can be resized and deleted should you need to
