The two adventures in which I participate have no need (apparently) for a team name, but me being me - an inveterate punster - I created several anyway:
Since no one I know wants to use them, feel free to choose any of these - some may also be used for other types of teams: Trivia Night (Knight? Hey, it works; use it!), Softball Team, Nerdy Biker Gang, whatever...
Haul of Heroes...Bard4Life...Crew In Tensions/Intentions...Dun/Done Djinns...SPELL THIS!...Tunnel Visionaries...The Wizards of Osmond...Eberron Anon...The Pack-Rat Rat-Pack...Buncha D'Orcs
Then I turned to Class-specific Team Names:
Artificer Indifference/Intelligence...Barbarian D'Hatchet...Bard 'n' Bath / Bard, Bath, D&D n Beyond...Cleric El Error...Druid I Ly-Da-Yu?...Fighter: Plain...Monk E-C-N-Doo...Paladin Arrow / Paladin Sane...Ranger Onimo!...Rogue Boat / Rogue, Rogue, Rogue Your Boat...Sorcerer Amelk/O'Melk...Warlock En LOL...Wizard & Heights
Please let me know which gave you laughs/groans, like/dislike, and please submit your own ideas OR your actual Team Names
The only game I played (was canceled unfortunately), we named the local guards “The Himbos” but we never referred to our team as anything besides “our party” or “those screaming, vase-stealing weirdos” lmao

In the first campaign I played in I was playing as a Goblin Bard in a team along with two Tieflings, a Half-Orc, a Drow, and a Pirate. He started introducing them as the Monster Squad, since they're all kind of "monsters" (except the pirate, although Pirate is a rare human occupation that can be treated as a monster in like... bad kid's stories). Nobody else in the group consented to being known as the Monster Squad, until it gradually mutated until the idea was that we were a group of people who fought against monsters and it gradually became like... a real, sentimental thing for us, both in character and for us as players.
In our current campaign our group is technically known as the Grimveils, but that's just because we're members of a secret order of peacekeepers known as the Grimveils, and since it's a secret we don't actively introduce ourselves as "The Grimveils" in most situations... it's more something we bring up in case we meet someone we think would be more willing to speak to us if they knew.
For the game I"m DM'ing, I tried to encourage the players to come up with a team name in a recent session... they were attending a fancy party, and they were asked to give a group name for themselves to be introduced by... but they couldn't settle on one, so they were introduced as "The Protectors of Phandalin", since the group had been originally built for a Lost Mines of Phandelver game, but it's not something they've called themselves or been referred to as since... although I still have them listed as that in my notes.

In addition to my ridiculous suggestions I've seen a couple of good examples from other replies. Why not pick a few of your favorite names, and have the team vote on it? Or really limit it to a small number of your very favorite so there's less arguing?
A long time ago in a city far away, I played D&D - I think it was either version 2 or 3 - and someone named his PC "Reaper the Grim." There's something about this game that brings out the twisted, maniacal humor in otherwise normal people. Gotta love that, right?
Also very accurate! "The Quarrelsome Quintet" pretty much describes most of what goes on during a session, so let's see:
The Quarrelsome Quartet works as well, but we can do better: The Trio of Tribulation...4-Cough...fI've Lost My Patience...The Insidious Six...The Septet Defensive...OctoFussy...Nona Yer Business / Nona Your Lip...The TENsion Within...?
I can't tell whether I'm good at this or bad at this :\
A group I ran for almost twenty years ago was half ladies playing and half guys. On one of the early adventures the ladies in the party tried to con/rob a wealthy merchant in the public baths. things of course did not go as planned... and the party had to flee town.
Shortly afterward the thief in the group started introducing the party as “The Bathhouse Babes.”
Much to the chagrin of some of the group... the name kinda stuck.

Not really a team name for the whole party, but here some OOC comments from our barbarian about our half-elf bard and my woodelf druid:
I usually have some fun coming up with a name and then forgetting about it. The Quarrelsome Quintet was probably my favourite.
Chilling kinda vibe.
