I am relatively new to using the online d&d platforms so if I missed this in a previous thread I apologize.
I am going to get the annual hero tier subscription and I was wondering, if say 6 months later, I want to upgrade to the master tier, do I have to wait 6 months to use the new features? Also for billing would I be charged the full amount for master or prorated 6 months of the remaining time I have left from hero?
You would, currently, need to talk to customer support to have this done, they're pro-rate what remains of your hero tier in a refund (or that's what they did for me) and you will then need to pay the sub for the Master tier.
If this has changed since I did it originally ~2 years ago, I apologize for giving any false information.
When you decide to make the switch, make sure to contact customer support first so they can help you implement the transition more smoothly. As far as I know, there is no easy way for users to upgrade to the next tier ourselves.
